Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly located right across from the beach, providing a great view and easy access to the best of Venice. The rooms, though comfortable, can be a bit clairaudient and musty. The dining experience is lovely with a peaceful atmosphere, but the facilities could use some improvement.
The Pacific Suite was just perfect to fit the double bed, a useful sink, and for you to open your big bag with beautiful views overlooking the pacific. The room is quite 'clairaudient' at least the room we had, room # 7, which is beside the public shower. The hotel offers a great location to experience the contrast between Santa Monica and Venice, being away from the boardwalk but so close to the beach.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were very basic, not much to them at all, but surprisingly super cool and absolutely spotless. The service was just average, nothing outstanding. The location, on the beach close to everything in Venice beach, made up for the shortcomings. The dining was an experience, especially the atmosphere and the coffee, but with some aspects that could be improved. The facilities were comfortable and clean, providing a decent stay overall.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was fantastic, just steps away from the beach and surrounded by great dining options. The rooms were contemporary, clean, and comfortable, although a bit cozy. The service was top-notch, and the dining experience was a delightful highlight. However, the limited space in the rooms and the inability to keep a window open were minor drawbacks.
The hotel is in a prime location right on the beach, offering a unique experience to explore both Santa Monica and Venice. The rooms are contemporary, clean, and comfortable, ranging from simple rooms to magnificent suites. The staff are incredibly helpful, but the public shower is a slight inconvenience. Price-wise, it offers reasonable value for the quality provided.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location is superb, right next to Venice beach, and offers a great selection of dining and shopping options nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful, allowing me to experience the best of Santa Monica and Venice. The rooms were a fantastic value, though being on the first floor meant sacrificing some ventilation.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were super clean, had beautiful views overlooking the Pacific, but were a bit tiny. They were just perfect to fit the double bed, a useful sink, and your big bag, not much more space. The service was average. The location was very accommodating, awesome, right for my trip, with comfortable and clean facilities, close to Venice Beach and LAX, and so close to the beach. The dining experience was great, with staff very helpful even when we arrived late, and an experience shared with interesting people and the best coffee possible. The facilities were sufficient for my needs.
The hotel's rooms were very well designed and spotlessly clean, perfect for a 2-night stay. While there was a musty smell and the first-floor location limited keeping windows open, overall, it was a comfortable stay with great amenities. The service was friendly and accommodating, enhancing the experience. The location was ideal for the trip, offering easy access to the beach, shopping, and dining options. The dining experience was simple yet lovely, with great croissants and a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment.
The hotel is ideally located in Venice, right by the beach and a fantastic ale house. Rose Avenue offers great dining and shopping options within a short walk or bike ride. The rooms are very basic with little to offer, but the service is outstanding with helpful recommendations for dining and bars. The dining experience is unique and delightful, featuring a communal wooden table with a view leading to the beach. However, the lack of variety in the rooms is a downside, and the Sicilian pastry might not appeal to everyone.
Staying at The Rose was a mixed experience. The room, while compact, had everything I needed but felt a bit cramped. The location right by Rose Avenue with dining options was a major plus, but being close to the beach and Airport was convenient. The dining experience was unique, and the facilities were satisfactory, although a bit lacking in some areas.
I couldn't have asked for a better location; right at the beach in Venice Beach, providing the perfect contrast between Santa Monica and Venice. The room I stayed in, room #7, was a bit small, more like a cell, but it had everything I needed, from a comfy double bed to a useful sink, and just enough space to open my luggage. Rose Avenue nearby offers a great selection of dining and shopping options, adding to the already charming location. The hotel is nestled right next to a wonderful alehouse, promising a fantastic stay close to everything in Venice Beach.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms ranged from basic to magnificent, offering good value for the price. The service was a bit lacking, but the location was unbeatable. Dining was a unique experience, and the facilities were satisfactory.
I had a delightful 2-night stay in room #7 at this hotel. The room was quite 'clairaudient' but charming, with a perfect desk space and a peaceful atmosphere. Waking up to a gorgeous morning view was a highlight, even though it was beside the public shower. The location was amazing, offering a wonderful contrast between Santa Monica and Venice, right next to the beach and a fantastic ale house. The dining experience was simple yet lovely, with great croissants and always-available coffee, tea, and water. The facilities were impressive, and the staff was super helpful, making my stay enjoyable.
The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the beach close to everything in Venice Beach. The rooms, though small, were super clean, meeting my most important criterion for a hotel. The musty smell and old-fashioned vibe could be improved. The separated shared toilet rooms were a great value addition.
The Rose is a gem with a great location near the beach and a variety of dining and shopping options on Rose Avenue. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but some noise from the public shower can be heard in certain rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the dining experience is simple yet enjoyable with fantastic croissants. The value for money is reasonable, providing a peaceful atmosphere in a vibrant area.
